PHDL attended the 8th Annual Dancing with the Charlotte Stars event on Friday, March 4th. This event supports The Arts & Humanities Council of Charlotte County and is a fun filled evening of socializing, food and dancing.
There were guest performances by several dance studios, as well as 8 local “stars” competing for the prestigious Judge’s Choice and People’s Choice Awards. We had a great time cheering on all of the competitors, but especially Interim Police Chief of Punta Gorda, Tom Lewis!
The Arts and Humanities Council of Charlotte County programs include: Art in Public Places, Art on the Harbor, Expressions from Beautiful Minds, Café Philo, The Chamber of the Arts, and returning this year Classroom Grants.
